月と茉莉花 (リンクスロマンス) 時代もの、それも中国らしき舞台設定でしたが、全然気になりませんでした。人名、地名にそれらしく背景が漂っているのですが、人の名の漢字の示す雰囲気、そして、その名前を持つ人の心、凄く伝わってきました。普段はあまり気にしないのですが、この本は、名前も重要な要素で、主人公の心を如実に表していたと思います。切ないくらいに伝わってくる気持、ちょっとジーンときました。読み応え充分、切なさ、幸せの暖かさが味わえる1冊でした。

All the characters are fleshed out and you feel that you are there. This movie leaves a good after taste.
